Viridian Joule, Chevy Volt's Newest Color Choice

Chevy was so mystified by their new color for their 2011 Volt that they asked the public for help to name it.  David Thomas, 40, of Sanford, Florida submitted the name "Viridian Joule."  Originally from Southeast Michigan, Dave's family has roots in the auto industry.  Among over 20 names submitted by Dave alone, his suggestion of "Viridian Joule" finally won the contest.

Looking at the color, he saw the color of an emerald, which led to jewel and then to an alternate play on the word-- joule.  Dave says he has been hooked on the electric Volt since the concept car was revealed in 2007.  I suppose many people agreed since it won by a public vote.  What would you have called this emerald hue?
