The lush, colorful interiors of designer Jamie Drake are known for their mix of playfulness and style. Jamie shares his ideas on how color and design can enable us to Have Fun in our everyday lives. Jamie Drake has done it all...with style.
He has designed for Michael Bloomberg and Madonna. He has been inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame. In short, he is a talented man and a dear friend. I love many of his ideas on how to add touches of FUN into our spaces without breaking the bank in 2010.
We filmed in Jamie's apartment and though the views were breathtaking, his sense of style was the most memorable element. When we started talking about great ideas for home decor, he was brimming. Here's what he had to say.

I like the idea of jazzing up neutral walls by painting a light colour on the ceiling. It's sounds calming and beautiful.

Hi Sonu,
Great interview. I loved the ideas from Jamie, simple and very practicle and applicapble. I just stumbled across this blog via Benjamin Moore & Co. a few minutes ago, from which I receive frequent email updates; I am sooooo excited!! I plan to paint my house next month. It's one of my projects for 2010; so this blog could not come at a better time! I’m looking forward to the 10 days.
