The lush, colorful interiors of designer Jamie Drake are known for their mix of playfulness and style. Jamie shares his ideas on how color and design can enable us to Have Fun in our everyday lives.  Jamie Drake has done it all...with style.

He has designed for Michael Bloomberg and Madonna.  He has been inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame.  In short, he is a talented man and a dear friend.  I love many of his ideas on how to add touches of FUN into our spaces without breaking the bank in 2010.

We filmed in Jamie's apartment and though the views were breathtaking, his sense of style was the most memorable element.  When we started talking about great ideas for home decor, he was brimming.  Here's what he had to say.

Looking for an insider's view into Jamie Drake's style at home?  Here are a few photos we shot that show how he has used his talents in his own space.

I like the idea of jazzing up neutral walls by painting a light colour on the ceiling. It's sounds calming and beautiful.

What a great idea to start off the new year with fresh ideas. Love the videos, thanks! I'll be back to see more.
